INTRODUCTION
Malaga Workshops grew some years ago from the personal
interests in Writing Painting and Photography of the founder Lois Maddox.
There was a need to escape from every day demands of work
and home chores, to write and take photographs, to sit quietly and sketch.
Where better than an area Lois knows well and
staying in places that she could trust to deliver comfortable accommodation and good food?
VENUES
Our UK Day Courses in Creative Writing, Family History and Photography
are held at Poole Court, Yate, near Bristol. A charming beamed building - an ideal venue for our courses.
Our Day Seminars in Malaga City are held at the Gatehouse Reading Room
St George's Church Avenida de Pries 1 - 29016 Malaga.
UK Weekend courses are held at different centres in the UK. They
are excellent Conference Centres offering modern amenities and set in beautiful gardens. Parking is available.
The 4 Day Mini-Break Courses in Malaga are held at a family run hotel
near the beach and within walking distance of the Historical Town Centre. A tour of the City is included, with
a visit to the Picasso Collection. There is time to write, sketch, take photographs and enjoy the challenge of the course.
Our 8 Day Holiday Courses in Grazalema Natural Park (yes Natural!)
are centred in the mountain villages of Grazalema and Zahara de la Sierra. With spectacular views, picturesque
cobbled streets and welcoming villagers, you will find time to work, play and relax with like-minded people.
Courses are flexible to suit the group. Teaching standards are
high and you return having achieved a writing, painting and photography experience and visited new places. Transfers and outings
are included.
